We’re delighted to welcome Phil Jones back to the UK for a rare and very special evening of bass, audio, innovation and stories. Phil will be joined by accomplished bassist, amplification specialist, and respected music industry professional, Michael Albronda.
With more than 55 years as a bass player and audio designer, Phil has spent his career pushing the boundaries of what bass amplification can be. His passion for sound, engineering and music ultimately led to the creation of PJB (Phil Jones Bass) and a range of compact, highly portable bass amps known for their clarity and distinctive sound.

From 4:00pm, Phil will be at Sutton Music Centre to meet players, answer questions and talk about all things bass, amplification, tone and audio.

You’ll be able to try the PJB range for yourself and hear guest players demonstrate the amps.
🎤 6:30pm — Phil Jones: The Story Behind PJB
At 6:30pm, Phil will talk about his remarkable journey as a bass player and audio engineer, how he approaches the design of musical equipment, and the story behind setting up PJB.
There’ll be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and get an insight into the thinking behind some of the most innovative bass amplification products around.
