World Piano Day, Saturday March 29th

We're celebrating all things piano on March 29th! Why March 29th we hear you ask............ well it happens to be the 88th day of the year (relating to the 88 keys on a piano keyboard)!

The idea was realised ten years ago by German pianist/composer/producer Nils Frahm to celebrate the piano and all things related to it, including music, musicians, and the joy of playing.

We'll have guest pianists playing in-store throughout day between 11am and 4pm. You'll hear some Classical, Pop and Jazz music and have the opportunity to ask questions about repertoire and tips on playing. There are even a few of our piano pupils playing too!

At 2.30pm and 3pm Nikki Franklin will be talking through how to compose at the piano and how to get started on writing your first pop song. Nikki is a hugely experienced player, composer and educator. Checkout Nikki's website for details about her new community music project https://franklinmusic.net/

Along with special offers we'll be including a set of headphones with every piano or keyboard purchase. As always we're here to explain each model's features and advise on the best instrument for you.

Enter our prize draw to win a NU-X NEK100 61 note keyboard worth £189 or the official World Piano Day piano repertoire book.

We look forward to seeing you!
